The Cargo Sales Executive will also be responsible for negotiating contracts, keeping up-to-date with industry trends, and achieving sales targets. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong customer service orientation, and the ability to work independently.   • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate revenue and growth targets in the cargo industry.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including market research, lead generation, and prospecting activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, cargo agents, and shipping companies.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to maximize profitability and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors to stay informed about industry developments and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure smooth handling and delivery of cargo shipments.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to potential clients to showcase services and capabilities.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales reports to management, including sales forecasts, pipeline analysis, and performance metrics.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote company services and expand client base.
  • Adhere to all relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the cargo industry to ensure ethical business practices.


  • Qualifications for Cargo Sales Executive role:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in the cargo or logistics industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a results-oriented mindset.
